Privacy Policy — Gabe YouTube Manager

Last updated: October 15, 2026

Operator and purpose

Gabe YouTube Manager is a personal desktop automation tool operated by Gabriel Sampson for his YouTube channel. It uses YouTube API Services and the yutu CLI. Questions and data-deletion requests can be sent to gabrielmsampson@gmail.com.

Information accessed and used

Google handles sign-in and consent. The desktop application receives OAuth access and refresh tokens, which let it carry out authorized operations on the selected channel. The application does not receive the Google account password.

Depending on the requested task and granted permissions, the application can access channel details; video identifiers, titles, descriptions and visibility; publishing schedules; playlists; captions; comments; and channel membership information. It also processes video files, thumbnails, caption files and metadata selected by the operator for upload or editing. Access is used to perform the operator's channel-management requests and verify their results.

Storage and retention

OAuth credentials and tokens are stored on the operator's computer in a private configuration directory with restricted file permissions. Requested API responses, job records and command outputs may be saved locally to support verification, troubleshooting and continuing a task. The operator controls those files and can delete them when they are no longer needed. Uploaded material and changes to YouTube resources are stored and processed by Google.

Sharing and other services

API requests and selected uploads are transmitted to Google. If the operator uses an AI assistant to operate the tool, channel information or command results needed for the requested task may also be processed by that assistant's provider under its own terms and privacy policy. This tool does not sell YouTube account data or use it for advertising.

The public information pages do not handle Google sign-in or store OAuth tokens. Their hosting provider may process normal website request information, such as IP addresses and browser details, to serve and operate the pages.

Revoking access and deleting information

The operator can revoke the application's Google account access through Google Account permissions. To remove local application data, the operator can delete the application's OAuth credential and token files together with locally saved API responses and task records, or contact Gabriel at the address above for help. Revoking access and removing local records are separate actions. Videos or other material already stored on YouTube can be managed through YouTube Studio and Google account controls.

Google and YouTube policies

This application uses YouTube API Services. Google's handling of information is described in the Google Privacy Policy. Use of YouTube is subject to the YouTube Terms of Service.

Changes

This policy will be updated when the tool's data practices change. The date above identifies the latest revision.
